Frequently Asked Questions

I'm a complete beginner, can I still come?

Yes of course! All classes are suitable for complete beginners. The way I teach is to encourage you to go to your own ability and at your own pace.

No one gets left behind.

Do I need a yoga mat?

Yes, for both mat and chair based classes please bring a mat. If you don’t have one, I always bring some that you can borrow.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that you can move easily in. PJs, jeans, onesies, leggings, t-shirt – seriously, whatever you want to wear as long as you can move easily and you feel happy in it. I wear funky leggings, or jogging bottoms and a branded t-shirt.

What should I bring?

Most importantly, yourself!

Quite often, people will have water with them to drink during class.

Other things to consider are:

  • A yoga mat if you have one
  • A blanket or warm clothing for the final resting pose
  • A yoga block or a brick to help with seated and some balancing poses
What should I expect?

A warm smile and welcome as you walk in. We do yoga together in a circle so there’s no hiding at the back I’m afraid. Time to explore how poses feel. Friendly groups, where we all have a good giggle and chat before, during and after class. A teacher who leads by example and therefore creates a safe space where I want you to feel like you can be you, no filters.

How much are classes?

I offer the first class for free.

Pay as you go is £8.50

You can get a 4 class pass for £28 or a 6 class pass for £42. Each can be used over 6 and 8 weeks respectively and any of the classes except online.

Online yoga is £4.25 for pay as you go or a 4 class pass is £14.
